Full Service Package for Rotterdam Ship Agents
The DirkAgent package is developed to facilitate the operations of the ship agent. Royal Dirkzwager offers Rotterdam ship agents assistance by providing information on:
- actual status and position information for ships in the Rotterdam port area (by telephone);
- real-time ship movement information via the ShipInfo platform (arrival and sailing information);
- monitoring allocated times of vessels for nautical service providers;
- providing vessels' visit reports (port-log) for Statement of Facts purposes;
- sending, on behalf of the ship's agent, electronic notifications of arrival to the harbourmaster;
- drawing up official reports "Passing Hook of Holland in/outbound";
- PortCall access - A specially for Rotterdam agents designed administrative / operational web-based application;
- handling ship/shore messages, e.g. Pilot-VTS messages;
- local weather information and forecast for the next 24 and 48 hours.
Additionally the DirkAgent package includes the Royal Dirkzwager in-house VHF facility in order to assist in the procedure and operations related to a specific PortCall.
