Alert Service
Worldwide Alert Service for ships at sea in distress
According to International Safety Management Code (I.S.M.) every ship owner is obliged to have a focal point which has 24 hour attainability and stand-by service. Royal Dirkzwager offers this service to all ship owners who do not have the means to comply with this obligation. We offer a diversity of communication facilities which enables us to act as your focal point within your Emergency Response Plan.
Means of communication
The regulations, laid down by the International Maritime Organisation (I.M.O.) stipulate that all ship owners stand-by in case of emergencies 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. At the same time, all ship owners must have the facility to communicate with their ships.
Because of our round-the-clock availability and the diversity of means of communication, Royal Dirkzwager is able to act as your focal point within Emergency Response Plan requirements. This service is at your disposal 24 hours a day.
Royal Dirkzwager uses it's own electronic mail system with means of communication such as telephone, telex, fax and Internet mail. In case of a calamity we are immediately able manned.
